BVAdvanced has improved and perfected two high temperature food grade lubricants. The products provide superior performance thorugh very low carbon forming tendency. BVAdvanced Division President Glenn Short commented “I have never seen such good panel coker tests in my 40+ years of experience in this industry. A major independant laboratory reported 0 mg deposists at 260°C (500°F) which is essentially perfect results at well above the oven chain temperatures found in food plants. Results at 316°C (600°F) were equally as impressive, although there were a couple mg deposit it was nearly 10 times better than the best competitor products tested.” The products are marketed as SPOE-FGCO for higher antiwear and EP perfomance in more economical price, and SPOE- CO-F series for superior performance at 316°C (600°F). These are currently NSF H-1 applied for, and currently meet FDA requirements under 21 CFR 178.3570. Short said “the breaktrhough was both in our finding new proprietary additive combinations and a unique way of combining available food grade esters.”
