BVAdvanced Director Glenn Short presents new information at the Annual STLE meeting in Atlanta GA. The Technical Presentation included developments of screw compressor lubricants including air and process applications. major advancements announced in handling hydrocarbon gases for improved efficiency using novel new lubricants and new additive formulations for “acid gas” applications with high levels of hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide and water. Formulations developed and field tested over the last 5 years greatly reduce rate of corrosion to steel and yellow metals and prevent deposit build up in these difficult applications.
